Such a display of patriotism is almost poetic, isn't it.
Saturday July 3rd
3 PM- Out of work
3:30 PM- Out if the shower
4:15 PM- Leave for train
4:42 PM- Miss train by two minutes
5 PM- Pat shows up more than two minutes late
5:30 PM- After sitting on our asses trying to figure out what to do for a half an hour, we decide to drive into Brooklyn.
5:35 PM- Pat locks his keys and cell phone in his car
6 PM- Leave the train station toward Wading River and a spare set of keys.
7 PM- Return to the train station, retrieve phone and keys, and leave for brooklyn.
8 PM- Arrive in Brooklyn and park in some street neither of us know.
9:30 PM- Get on the bus Philly Bound
12:15 AM- Walk in the door of Brysons apartment....finally there!!
Thats pretty much the story of the trip to Philly for the 4th. Traveling was not our forte, we had seen smoother journeys in our time. But, one thing that was on for the trip was full on, no holds barred skateboarding. Pat, Bryson, and Nick all killed it all day, along with everyone else at the park. Harry Potter was there and did the craziest Frontside grab into the square bowl I had ever seen. Well the photos tell the story better than I can so....Here you go.
